Religious Affairs

The Council for Religious Affairs (CFRA) of the Muslim Association of Nigeria UK, comprising of the Imams, other Religious Counsellors and Scholars coordinates and carry out a number of regular activities and functions within the Mosque for the benefit of members and other Mosque users in accordance with Islamic tenets. Regular Mosque activities include:

 

  • The Five Daily Prayers.

  • The Weekly Jumu’ah Prayers.

  • The Sunday Dhikr.

  • Midweek Evening Spiritual Diets.

  • The Last Sunday of the month Special Du’a.

  • The Quarterly recitation of the whole Qur’an.

  • The Last Friday of the Month Lectures.

  • The 1st Sunday of the Month- Islamic Jurisprudents(Fiqh)

  • The 2nd Sunday of the month Tafsir anchored by Prof. Mashood Baderin.

  • The Tafsir sessions during the month of Ramadan were also held on Saturdays and Sundays as usual.

  • Provision of iftar and sahur all through the month of Ramadan.

  • Itikaf services during the last ten nights of Ramadan.

  • The Eid Prayers.

  • Thanksgiving Services.

  • Naming Ceremonies (Aqeeqah).

  • Wedding Ceremonies (Nikaah).

  • Funeral Services (Janaazah)

  • Hajj Workshop

  • Annual Symposium and Conferences

  • Inter-Faith Programmes.
